Valkyrie
Valkyrie is based on a true story of the last attempt made on Hitler’s life during the second world war. Because of Tom Cruise’s actions this past couple of years, I’m not a big fan of his and I was somewhat reluctant to go see this movie. I can’t say I know much about history and most of what I know about World War II is from movies. I didn’t know there was a German resistance or that Germans tried to kill Hitler during his reign.
This movie was educational for me. The problem I have with movies based on true stories is that we already know the outcome. It was an interesting movie despite knowing the ending.
About 57% of critics on RottenTomatoes recommended Valkyrie and I would give it a score of 7.5.
