Yes Man

Yes Man is  a comedy about a guy (Jim Carrey) who leads a mundane life and makes up excuses not to do anything with anybody. An old acquaintance of his convinces him to go to Yes seminar where he is singled out and by the end of the seminar he agrees to say Yes to everything. The plot was amusing and the movie had quite a few funny moments.

Comedies are not my usual fare but I like some of Jim Carrey’s movies and I am glad I went to see this. He has his moments in this movie and there are some scenes that fall flat. Overall Yes Man was entertaining and maybe there was a lesson to learn from it.

About 44% of critics on RottenTomatoes recommended Yes Man and I would give it a score of 7.5.
