Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is  a sequel to the first animated movie by the same name.  All the same characters returned to provide the same kind of humor as was in the first movie.  Escape 2 Africa finds the main characters in Africa and Alex is reunited with his parents.  I found the zebras that were all identical pretty irritating. The story was kind of interesting, a little predictable, and I guess I was just expecting more.  My nieces were quite happy with the movie and I guess kids don’t have the same kind of expectations like us adults.

About 64% of critics on RottenTomatoes recommended Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and I would give it a score of 7.5 for adults and more like 8.5 for kids.
