The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight is the sequel to Batman Begins. I enjoyed Batman Begins and planned to see Dark Knight before Heath Ledger passed away. I was a little worried about watching it after he passed away thinking that I would focus on him instead of the movie. However, when I saw his character appear (The Joker) I really couldn’t tell that it was Heath with all the make-up and the mannerisms. I really didn’t give it much thought during the movie. I like the actors that played in this movie, they are very good and believable in their roles. Dark Knight continues the story of the first movie with Batman trying to clean up Gotham. He is also trying to pass the duty off to others so that he no longer has to be Batman. The story is well told and it makes you think about human nature. This movie is very dark and in some ways very sad. You can’t help but feel bad for Batman. Also it will be very unfortunate, although understandable, if the Joker character is not seen again. The interaction between him and Batman is very interesting.

About 94% of critics on RottenTomatoes recommended The Dark Knight and I would give it a score of 9.
