Iron Man
Iron Man is based on the fictional character that has appeared in many comic books. I went to see this movie with my sister although she is not a fan of movies based on comic books and she was somewhat reluctant to see it. Robert Downey Jr. plays the character of Iron Man and Downey’s character isn’t your typical superhero but he makes you believe his journey in becoming a superhero. Unlike other superheroes movies, this one is very humorous which I think is mainly due to Downey. It’s hard not like him or root for him. This movie is highly entertaining with a good amount of action and visual effects. When the movie finished, I think my sister actually loved it more than I did because she said she wanted to see it again. So for all of you there who don’t like this type of movie, I think you should give Iron Man a shot. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Over 90% of critics on RottenTomatoes recommended Iron Man and I would give it a score of 9.5.
