Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the 5th installment in the Harry Potter series. The movie is based on the book of the same name. I have seen the previous four movies and out of all the movies I found this one to be the darkest. Harry is an angry teenager throughout the whole movie. It doesn’t help that Harry and Dumbledore are branded as liars from the onset. The school gets a new teacher, Dolores Umbridge, who is unlike the other teachers and is cruel to the students and is known for abusive punishments. Unlike the other movies there are no happy moments in this one. Harry is betrayed by someone he likes and he also loses someone close to him. Not much goes well for him in this movie and you can’t but help feel bad for him. This installment is definitely not a feel-good movie.
About 77% of critics on RottenTomatoes recommended Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and I would give it a score of 7.5.
